Whether you’ve had a hysterectomy or have reached the stage in life where your hormone levels have started to change naturally, hot flush symptoms can be a significant burden on day-to-day life. This is related to lower levels of the hormone oestrogen being produced by the body.
For many years hormone replacement therapy (or HRT) has been a standard treatment for relief of menopause-related symptoms. The treatment being studied is a new form of hormone replacement tablet that uses a natural oestrogen at very low levels. Companies that make new medicines continue to try and find better and safer treatment options to help with hot flush symptoms. This study will be looking specifically at how much this natural oestrogen tablet can help reduce how often women get hot flushes, how it can improve their severity, and how safe it is.
We are looking for women between the age of 40 and 65 who get regular hot flush symptoms with sweating to take part in this study and help be a part of finding new treatment options for women everywhere. Please take the survey to see if you might be eligible!
